Why Become A Coach?
Coaching is among the fastest growing professions in modern history. There are many pressures in the socioeconomic system fostering this. Our favorite rationale is that society has reached a point where the expert model must perish to allow for the recovery of the important virtue of self-reliance.
The expert model in medicine is harming our economy, while most diseases are preventable. It is the intention of most of our trainees to earn a living while having purposeful form of livelihood. For many, the emerging new health system and its consumer driven components is a perfect match.
Many programs make in appropriate claims about income and the ease of involvement. We feel it is more honest to note that whole there are tremendous opportunities, it is rare that someone becomes a busy high priced coach without hard work. That said, it has occurred and will again. Many come to the coach training process with a clientele already waiting for their return. Typically there is a learning curve – a coaching skills curve, though the Circle of Life is very easy to implement, and a business learning curve.
As the coach masters both the coaching system and needed business skill sets, it is typical to create a fulfilling career.
